When we see an artist create, we typically don't see editing lines that he draws, we only immediately see good shapes as he draws on paper. An average person cannot do this on his own.
This is called talent.
Most people think that talent, if not a skill born with us, can no longer be learned in retrospect.
The principle of the Hussar method, on the other hand, is definitely that talent is indeed a teachable ability.
T's "talent" 8-part series is an extraordinary, very special and original training that was introduced as an innovation in the Hussar-method curriculum in 2020. In 8x3-hour courses, we deal with the exact drawing of parts of the face from the feeling (head, not copied), which is achieved with the help of the self-developed Hussar rate meter, in parallel with the development of the eye level.
It is also useful as a stand-alone curriculum, or even as an additional training for our F1 and F2 all-day (8-hour) drawing courses. The difference between our all-day and 3-hour talent development trainings is that we teach the steps of building a complete face in all-day courses, while in our 3-hour talent development courses we teach the individual editing of each detail of the face and then its precise, scale drawing by head and feeling (without edits). This learned ability gives an extraordinary talent that can far surpass the sense of form of innate talent in accuracy. Thus, our talent development drawing courses (T1-T8), based on the original, conscious editing forms of the Hussar method, also enable our students to draw the perfect forms thus learned from the head, free hand, free eye, i.e. feeling, without editing lines.
